    The Pamlico MERV 11 is an extended surface, pleated air filter, created to provide high efficiency, high dust holding capacity and low pressure drop. The MERV 11 is available in standard capacity as well as high capacity. The MERV 11 air filter performs at high levels in comparison to standard pleated filters. The MERV 11 air filter has a minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) of 11.
    The MERV 11 has a long lasting, moisture-resistant, beverage board frame with wire-supported media. The media is an electrostatic blend of synthetic fibers that are specifically designed for elongated surface pleated filters.  The MERV 11 was developed as a more economic option with an outstanding performance.
    The MERV 11 standard filter should be used where changing the filter is based on preventative maintenance. The MERV 11 should be use in filtration systems where changing the filter is based on the recommended final pressure decrease.
